Meet Our Team

Meet Sophia! Sophia is the owner and operator of StellaDoggo Playcare. Sophia started her career with dogs by working as a grooming assistant for nearly a year. Two years ago, she came to StellaDoggo to further explore her passion for dogs. Sophia worked her way up quickly, becoming assistant manager within 6 months. When the former founder stepped down, she passed the business to Sophia to continue with the exceptional service and care clients have come to know and love. Sophia is also a loving dog mom to her rescue dog, Cove. Cove accompanies Sophia to work and may be one of your dog’s first furry friends at daycare. Knowing how special a dog can be to your family, Sophia strives to provide the same loving care for your dog as she does for her own doggo. Outside of daycare, Sophia spends most of her time with Cove, training and going on adventures. She also enjoys spending time with friends, attending concerts, and traveling. Sophia is so thankful for all of the trust clients place in her and her wonderful team.

Meet Erica! Erica runs morning daycare five days a week, along with conducting evaluations for new clients. Erica takes much pride and passion in her role as manager at StellaDoggo. She enjoys forming relationships with clients and getting to talk to them about their dogs' daycare day. Erica started working at the Doggo two years ago, and she has been in the dog/pet care industry for many years. She started out as a dog walker/pet sitter, moving on to working at two other doggie daycares. She also worked at a veterinary hospital and recently left so she could spend more time with her Doggo friends! Erica has an associate's degree in animal care and has many years of experience in dog behavior, dog training, and vet care. Erica is also a loving dog mom to her two dogs, Marlee, a puggle, and Kaiser, a German shepherd. Erica's dogs are her pride and joy, and when she isn't at work, she normally can be found out on fun adventures with her dogs! Erica is very thankful to be part of the StellaDoggo team and appreciates all of her clients, staff, and, of course, the doggos! Erica is such an important asset to our team, and we are so grateful to have her with us! 

Meet Makayla! Makayla is a new member of our staff. You can typically find her at daycare during the week ready to greet the crew! Her career started off about four years ago. She has worked in a daycare setting for four years and has been training dogs for the past three years at the same facility. Her training experience varies from puppies, to basic obedience, to a more difficult crew. Makayla also has three dogs of her own: one pittie mix and two labradors. Her two labs, Lilo and Hank, join her during her shifts at work and help dogs come out of their shells and show off their true personalities. Makayla treats all of our friends here like her own and loves to connect with their owners! In her free time, Makayla likes to take her dogs on outdoor adventures for training purposes and for exercise enrichment. Makayla is amazing at what she does and the care that she provides to our crew. We are happy to have her here and look forward to everyone meeting her!

Meet Julianna! Julianna has been a part of the team since summer 2024. You will typically find her greeting you at pick up. She is pictured with her dog, Winston. She’s grown up having dogs her whole life and now has Winston and two other family dogs, Murphy & Jackson. Outside of work, Julianna loves skiing, hiking, and hanging out with friends! She’s currently studying to become a medical assistant and hopes to be an ER nurse someday. Julianna provides the best care to our crew of dogs and is always ready to work with a positive attitude! We are so lucky to have Julianna as a part of our team!

Meet Gianna! Gianna is mainly found working the pick-up shifts. Gianna started working at StellaDoggo a couple of months ago and is a college student who loves spending her time with animals. She had a puggle named Riley and loves all her new doggo friends. She previously worked part-time at a dog training facility, and she loves being able to take care of dogs. She always puts all her effort into caring for the doggos! She is very excited to be a part of the StellaDoggo team and we are lucky to have her! 

Meet Olivia! Olivia helps out with our boarding dogs. She has a passion for caring for dogs and has a Jack Russell mix named Casey Diva. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, listening to true crime podcasts and taking her dog on adventures! Olivia is always ready to provide the doggos with extra snuggles and make them feel right at home!
