IMPORTANT NOTICE

Dear Clients,

It is with a heavy heart and deep gratitude that we share some difficult news: StellaDoggo Playcare will be closing its doors this December. This has been a difficult decision, but ultimately the right one for our business and family.

As many of you know, Sophia has been working at StellaDoggo since it first opened in 2021. In 2024 Sophia and her family took over ownership. Since then, we’ve done everything we could to continue building a safe, happy, and welcoming space for your dogs, and we’re so proud of the community that’s grown here.

Each dog that’s come through our doors has meant something special to us. We’ve gotten to know their personalities, their routines, and their quirks. It’s been an absolute joy and privilege to be part of their lives each week. It’s truly something special to wake up so excited for work each morning to see them. 

While we’ve loved being a part of this neighborhood and serving all of you, the reality is that the business is no longer in a position to continue operating. Like many small businesses, we’ve faced  rising costs and other challenges behind the scenes. Despite our best efforts, it has become clear that it’s time to step away. Running a small, family-run business is deeply rewarding but also incredibly tough. 

We’re incredibly thankful to everyone who supported us along the way. Whether by bringing your dogs, spreading the word, or just showing us kindness. It has truly meant the world.

Our final day of service will be December 19th. Until then, we’re here as usual and continuing to care for your dogs with the same love and attention as always. Boarding will be available up until December 1. We welcome any questions. 

As for remaining play passes, we encourage you to use up as many as you can in this time, and not make any unnecessary purchases. We know how important it is to find a reliable and caring place for your pets, so we highly recommend checking out Poochie Palace, just down the street. They have also kindly offered to honor up to either three (3) full-day or three (3) half-day daycare credits per dog from StellaDoggo dogs that have passes left at the time of closing. This will be in place pending a successful trial day at Poochie Palace, which will be free of charge for our clients. They have a great team, and we trust your dogs will be in good hands there.

To our amazing staff: thank you for showing up every day and for being such a big part of what made this place special. You and your love for these dogs is incredible and what made the place what it is. 

To our clients: thank you. Thank you for all  the morning drop off conversations, the trust, and the memories. We’ll miss seeing you all and your dogs more than we can say.
